I think this counts as a digital manga painting... the descriptions have never exactly been clear.
I had a really weird dream about my SheezyArt account. And in that dream, I dreamed that I had drawn three pieces that I'd uploaded to it.
So when I woke up, I thought 'hey, I wonder if I can actually draw one of those.
So I did. ^_^
But in my dream, I'd only lay down the flat colours and not actually shaded it... Didn't fancy leaving it like that though.
It was all CGed at work. I drew the background separately, coloured it and then combined the two in Paint Shop Pro 7. And then did yet more work on it. ...Might have been easier to draw the background as part of the picture, really...
Those green puddles and the green on his chain? That's alien blood, that is.
(Yeah... I did ponder making it Covenant-blue... Maybe should have done, really.
