This is part 1 of 4 of NaNo07 Xmas pictures~!
This was actually the first I'd drawn - the ex-AI Maxim. Don't ask how he's an ex-AI, as it's a closely guarded secret. And okay, partially because I'm still working out the details, but if everyone knew, he wouldn't be special, would he?
He knows all about various winter traditions, being an AI, but the one he likes the most is the one involving mistletoe, because it means he gets a free kiss.
And since before he got a body he didn't really get to taste what a kiss was, he's rather keen to try one with Kse now.
Hence, 'Hope'.
You'd think that he'd know by now that she's more inclined to shoot him than kiss him.

That has to be the cutest reason to have a mistletoe hat ever. Though I would be more inclined to flick it than kiss him, because it looks a bit like a cat toy 
Before he got a body?? Hmm sounds like an interesting background he's got
