Still on my random attempt to add more colour to my images, I picked up the Xenon Kitty texture for Xenon by Aery Soul and found myself wondering just what on earth would suit such a... cheerful outfit.
Around the same time, I got the awesome free X14 Sci Fi Suit by parrotdolphin. And, gods only know why, I put them together to see how they looked. And then I removed the texture and made it pink to match Xenon Kitty and... all I could think of was "sci fi Japanese kids' TV presenter".
So, wearing the intentionally unrealistic XinXin hair, is my sci fi kids TV presenter.
Who was also a surprisingly big pain in the arse to render.
But hey, she's here now and she's very... pink, so I succeeded in that. And most of the problems got ironed out, and... best of all, I like her face, which isn't something I say too often about Victoria 4, poor girl.
XD That's so groovy. Sci-fi kids TV presenter is the perfect analogy. You've made great use of a texture that I too looked at and thought, "what on earth could possibly suit this??" You definitely got that. XD Well done
The skin is DiDi... she's hard to find a use for with her eye makeup, but she always looks really nice. And I'm glad you like the lights especially, as they were some of the most troublesome parts of the scene!
I'd like to play SC5 sometime. They had a big shout-out to it on Phantasy Star Universe a few months back and that got me interested. Too bad my Dreamcast is broken and I don't own a 360...

The main reason I am totally in love with the first .hack//G.U. novel:
It was an... insane game. I used to have a demo of it on the DC and, well, I failed it as often as cleared it.
New Dreamcasts can be pretty cheap, you know. I see them selling for about £20 here now... It's quite sad really, because some of the games on it can still knock the graphical socks off other consoles.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

...All we have to do now is think of another use for it.
(Although the wing colours might come in handy...)
